Burgeoning conductor MATTHEW HOOPER works currently as a freelance conductor, basing himself in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.  Mr. Hooper remains the Music Director for Indiana Public Radio's (IPR) annual live radio dramas, a position he has held since 2008. 

Recent engagements include work consulting as well as musical direction for local theatre companies.

Mr. Hooper recently concluded his second and final season as the Assistant Conductor of the Muncie Symphony and Ball State University Orchestras in Muncie, Indiana.  He also recently served as the Resident Music Director of the Muncie Civic Theatre.
