MATTHEW HOOPER is entering his second season as the Music Director and Conductor of the West Shore Symphony Orchestra of Pennsylvania. 


In January of 2013, Maestro Hooper was selected as one of twelve participants at the International Conducting Workshop and Competition in Macon, Georgia.  Recent engagements include musical direction for local theatre companies, consulting work, and judging marching band with the National Judges Association.


Mr. Hooper previously served as the Assistant Conductor of the Muncie Symphony and Ball State University Orchestras in Muncie, Indiana, Resident Music Director of the Muncie Civic Theatre, and Music Director for Indiana Public Radio’s annual live radio dramas.
